Abandoned Brewery × Fat Fathers Cycling Crew
Right now in NZ, around 157,000 kids are living in material hardship. That can mean going to school hungry, cold, or unwell. It's tough to learn when you're just trying to get through the day.
Our chosen charity helps level the playing field by providing practical support to children and families in need, helping kids focus on learning rather than simply getting by.
Ten years ago, the Fat Fathers Cycling Crew (FFC) hit the road from Christchurch to Queenstown and raised $170,000, helping support hundreds of Kiwi kids.
Now we're back for round two. In November 2026, we'll ride 1,000 km, climb more than 14,000 vertical metres, and finish with the Taupō Round the Lake Challenge.
This time we're aiming even higher: $200,000 to help 1,000 Kiwi kids.
Every dollar you give fuels the ride and helps change a child's life. All riders are self-funding the costs of the ride, so every dollar raised goes directly to supporting kids in need.
Thank you for backing FFC and helping level the playing field.
